Taylor Williams

Front Ensemble Technician

Taylor has her bachelor’s in Music Education from Wright State University. Throughout those four years she taught at multiple schools in the Dayton area. She served as the Percussion Director at Stebbins High School, as well as working on percussion staff with marching bands such as Fairborn HS, Piqua HS, Greenon HS, and Valley View HS. She taught indoor percussion at Troy HS, Fairborn HS, Beavercreek HS, and Carlisle HS. Currently, Taylor is co-directing percussion at Westland HS for the marching band, and teaches Central Crossing Indoor Percussion during the winter in Columbus, OH.

After graduating college, she served as the 5-12 Band Director at Preble Shawnee Jr/Sr High School (2020-2021), and the Assistant Band Director at Stebbins High School (2021-2022). She has since earned her Masters in Business Administration at The Ohio State University as well.

As a performer, Taylor played rack in Cap City 2019 and vibraphone in the 2020/2021 seasons. She also performed in DCA with Cincinnati Tradition on marimba/xylophone in 2019 and trumpet in 2021.
