Ray Butler is from Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his degree in Music Education-Percussion from Miami University (OH) in May of 2021 and his Masters in Music Performance in May of 2023.

At Miami, Ray was involved in several ensembles including but not limited to the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and Marching Band. He is a proud alum of Cap City from their 2018 and 2021 seasons.

He began teaching marching band in 2018 with many schools in the area, including Lebanon, Sycamore, and Finneytown high schools where he still teaches today.

Ray is excited to return on staff for the 2025 season!
