Mason has had a passion for cymbal playing since he started in 2014. His marching career started at Gold in 2014 and 2015, followed by Breakthrough Indoor Percussion 2015 out of California and Arizona. He relocated to the Midwest and marched Colts 2016 - 2019, along with Redline 2017 and Rhythm X 2018 - 2020.

Through the years, he has taught at Vista Grande High school in Arizona, Novi and Southgate High School in Michigan, and Centerville High School in Ohio. Mason has also taught at the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps, Cap City Percussion, CC2 and was a tour assistant/Cymbal technician for the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps.
