Kayleigh’s involvement in the performing arts started when she took her first dance class at the age of 3, and her marching arts career began through color guard with Carmel High School (2005-2007) and New Hartford High School (2007-2009). She then went on to perform with The Empire Statesmen Drum and Bugle Corps (2008-2009), Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps (2010-2012), Zydeco Winter Guard (2014), Pride of Cincinnati Winter Guard (2015), and Juxtaposition Winter Guard (2017). She has also performed with Cornell’s Rise Dance Group (2011-2013) and Columbus Modern Dance Company (2013-2016).

As an educator, Kayleigh is currently the Director of the Thomas Worthington HS Color Guard and Choreographer for the Heath HS Color Guard. She has also worked with Juxtaposition Winter Guard, Pickerington North HS Color Guard, and New Hartford HS Color Guard. This will be her fourth season on staff at Cap City, and she looks forward to the upcoming 2025 season.

Outside of the marching arts, Kayleigh holds a bachelor’s degree in Operations Research & Information Engineering with a minor in Dance from Cornell University and works in corporate retail in Columbus, Ohio.
