Jimmy began his marching career at Kettering Fairmont High School (2011 - 2015). After graduation he joined the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps (2015 - 2018) and Rhythm X (2016 - 2019).

He began teaching cymbals at Cap City for the 2020 season. Before that, he worked with Dayton/Cincinnati area high schools such as William Mason, Lebanon, and Centerville.

Jimmy graduated from Wright State University with a degree in Computer Science and currently works as a Programmer Analyst.
