Jackie started marching cymbals in Michigan at Divergent Performing arts back in 2019. She continued there throughout 2020, and then found herself marching CC2's inaugural season in 2021. She went on to march Cap City 22' and 23'.

Along with teaching Cap City, Jackie works with Huron Valley Percussion as a cymbal technician, and Adlai. E Stevenson High School as a Visual Coordinator. This is Jackie's second season teaching with Cap City and she is very excited to be able to continue and grow the amazing cymbal culture that Cap City cultivates.

Her teaching ethos is to foster an environment where student learning is transferable to their everyday lives and to see their growth in musical and visual coordination coincide with their growth as a person.

Outside of band, she just graduated from Wayne State University with Bachelor's degrees in both Environmental Science and Philosophy.
