William Messinger is an independent sound engineer and guitarist born and raised in Charleston, WV. With a deep-rooted passion for music that began at a young age learning through his family, William started playing guitar at East Bank Middle School and continued honing his skills throughout college at Marshall University. William performed at the Marching Thunder, Riverside marching and show choir band, high school musicals, and started performing in metal bands in Ohio and West Virginia at the age of 15. His journey into sound engineering began in high school, running sound for school events and churches. He has since developed a reputation for his expertise in the field. Now working with Lipzz Productions and independently, William combines his musical talent and technical skills to deliver exceptional audio experiences.

William was in Cap City 2021-2022 where he fell in love with the atmosphere of the marching arts audio design. William aims to inspire string players by showcasing the beauty of the marching arts and helping them find their place within it.

Outside of audio engineering, William enjoys over-land camping hunting and fishing, automotive restoration on his Jeep and preforming classical guitar at WV open mic festivals.
