Ben Miller is a percussion performer, educator, and composer from Pickerington, Ohio. He has studied at Capital University with Bob Breithaupt, Dr. Matthew Ryan Kilgore and Dr. Julie Licata, among others. During his time at Capital, he performed with the Symphonic Winds at Carnegie Hall as a part of the 2022 New York Wind Band Festival.

In the marching arts activity, Ben has enjoyed two seasons performing with the front ensemble of the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps (2022,2023) including the corps’ first ever Fred Sanford Award for High Percussion in ‘22. Additionally, Ben performed with Rhythm X in 2024, obtaining a silver medal at WGI World Championships.

Outside of music, Ben enjoys watching soccer, Formula 1, and spending quality time with his friends and family.
