Aaron has been involved with the marching arts activity since 2003 where he participated and taught Amherst Steele High School for 13 years. He was a WGI finalist with Matrix Percussion in 2007 and 2008, and traveled with them to Europe to hold clinics and compete at IPE Championships. Aaron holds a BA in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, and returned to Columbus in 2016 to join up with Cap City as he reconnected with his friend Donnie Ross.

Outside the marching activity, he enjoys attending many sporting events throughout Ohio and raising his Golden Retriever (Oliver Barry). Aaron looks forward to returning for his ninth season with Cap City and bringing his best friend Oliver around for all of the good boi vibes.
